Biography

Dr. Di Wang is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the Ϲ. Her research interests primarily focus on developing effective and efficient statistical learning methods and computational tools to advance the integrative modeling of real-world biomedical data and contribute to improved healthcare practices and patient outcomes.

Research Interests

Dr. Wang’s work center on (1) transfer learning and data integration methods to effectively leverage multi-source and multi-type data; (2) interpretable risk prediction models utilizing electronic health records (EHR), biobanks, disease registries, and claims data; (3) scalable machine learning methods and computational tools for large-scale, high-dimensional datasets; and (4) statistical approaches that overcome data privacy concerns, including synthetic data. She is also passionate about collaborative research in renal disorders, organ transplantation, diabetes prevention, immune-related adverse events (irAEs), cardiovascular diseases, and cancer research.
