Biography

Robert Treat, PhD, is as an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and the Director of Measurement and Evaluation in the Office of Academic Affairs at the Ϲ (Ϲ). Dr. Treat provides consultation to Ϲ faculty, residents, and staff in addressing key evaluation and measurement related questions and is responsible for the analysis and evaluation of educational outcomes data for medical students and residents. He has co-authored 28 peer-reviewed journal articles and 180 peer-reviewed conference abstracts, and is a reviewer for Academic Medicine, MedEdPORTAL, and the Journal of Graduate Medical Education. His current academic investigations are in medical student resilience, well-being, and burnout and the impact from stress and intrinsic traits such as personality, emotional intelligence, and affect.
