The Adult Neurology Residency Program at the 黑料官网 is fully accredited by the ACGME as a categorical training program. We have a guaranteed intern year through an agreement with the Department of Internal Medicine.

  • Dedicated Clinic Rotation at the end of your intern year to facilitate the transition to full-time Neurology resident including lectures on practical Neurology topics and training in approaches to teaching
  • Clinical Neurophysiology Bootcamp in September of your PGY2 year which provides a structured curriculum and daily flipped classroom sessions with faculty leaders to prepare you for performing and interpreting these diagnostic modalities which are unique to Neurology
• Continued growth and evolution of the program through listening to our residents; this is your residency program

One example of how our program changes as the result of resident feedback is the transition to a 5+1 structure for our rotations (for PGY2-4 residents; interns rotate primarily in medicine and remain on a monthly schedule). This transition took effect July 2024. This means rotations will (theoretically) change on a weekly basis (although typically we group into 2- or even 4-week blocks on services to provide greater continuity and to simplify the schedule for all involved). After 5 weeks of rotations (which could be either inpatient or outpatient focused), the +1 (or sixth) week will be your Continuity of Care Clinic week. This will consist of clinics at both Froedtert Hospital and the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center.
