Why did I choose Ϲ for fellowship? I chose the Ϲ NICU because it provides an exceptional opportunity to learn in a Level 4, 71-bed unit, which is the largest NICU in Wisconsin. This facility offers a diverse and high-volume clinical experience, allowing me to work with critically ill neonates, including those requiring care in the Cardiac ICU. The hands-on experience in such a state-of-the-art environment, combined with the opportunity for extensive learning under expert guidance, makes it an ideal setting for my professional development. The strong emphasis on teaching and the chance to explore complex cases will help me deepen my expertise in neonatal care and advance my skills in this specialized field.
One of the best things about living in Milwaukee? Milwaukee is a great place to live because it offers a lower cost of living compared to other nearby cities like Chicago, while still being close to the city for easy access to international flights. You can enjoy delicious Indian food at local restaurants and watch Indian movies at theaters (Especially for me who loves Indian food and cinema). The city also has beautiful parks and beaches along the lakefront, plus a strong craft beer scene and cultural attractions. It’s a perfect mix of affordability, culture, and fun.
