Why did I choose Ϲ for fellowship? Ϲ/CW provides the opportunity to train in a high-volume level IV NICU, as well as obtain ample delivery experience –the NICU is connected to the Froedtert birth center by a short bridge. Aside from the high-volume, there is exposure to a broad range of presentations and the chance to learn from a variety of neonatology experts at bedside, in the delivery room, via simulations, neonatal follow-up clinics, fetal concerns clinic and palliative care, for example. Lastly, there is outstanding partnership and teaching with and from other subspecialties we interface with in the NICU.
One of the best things about living in Milwaukee? Visiting the various weekend farmers’ markets!
