Biography

Dr. Spearman is a physician-scientist and an associate professor of pediatrics (cardiology) at the Medical College Wisconsin. He holds a secondary appointment in cell and developmental biology at Ϲ. His research focuses on the pulmonary vascular complications of single ventricle congenital heart disease – specifically arteriovenous malformations and aortopulmonary collaterals. His research utilizes basic and translational approaches to study the mechanisms of vascular remodeling.
