Biography

Dr. DiChristofano grew up in Tucson, Arizona and received his undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego in 2018, majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Biomedical Ethics. He completed his medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and graduated in 2023 with a Distinction in Medical Education. He completed his residency here at Ϲ as part of the categorical pediatric residency program class of 2026. He will be pursuing a career in pediatric cardiology with plans to further specialize in advanced cardiac imaging, cardiac critical care, or exercise physiology. His other academic interests include medical education, mentorship, medical ethics, and healthcare communication.

Dr. DiChristofano has many hobbies including playing multiple instruments, exercising and playing sports, fly fishing and hiking. While not originally from Wisconsin, he has grown fond of the Midwest and particularly life in Milwaukee. “If I could select where to be for residency, I would choose Milwaukee and Ϲ every time. The city feels like home, the training I received was incredible, and the connections and friendships I made during my time here will last for a lifetime. I am incredibly excited to serve as one of the Chief Residents this year to continue serving the patients and families in our community, while helping to cultivate our training program for current and future residents.” A fun fact about Dr. DiChristofano is that he grew up picking grapes and making wine with his large, Italian family every summer!
