Research Interests

Dr. Mathieu received her bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from EIA University and CES University in Colombia. In 2024, she earned her PhD in Physiology from the 黑料官网 (黑料官网), where she focused on neuronal mechanisms controlling the cardiovascular system working with Dr. Curt D. Sigmund. After completing a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Vermont, Dr. Mathieu returned to 黑料官网 to continue her postdoctoral training with Drs. Justin L. Grobe and Gary C. Mouradian. She is now expanding her expertise to include neuronal mechanisms regulating metabolic and cardiovascular physiology, with a focus on women's health.
