Biography

Hi! My name is Karli Branch, and I am from Draper, Utah. I graduated from the University of Utah in 2023 with a BS in biology and a minor in chemistry. While at the University of Utah I competed in track and field and cross country and was team captain for three years. I served on many leadership committees including the student-athlete advisory committee, UTAH group, and UNMUTED. I spent my free time assisting the special needs community by volunteering with U-FIT, Kids on the Move, and Special Olympics.

Since graduating, I worked as a teaching assistant for biology, anatomy, and general science at a junior high school. I enjoyed helping the students grow their knowledge and confidence in and out of the classroom. Additionally, I was the assistant coach for the cross country team. One of the highlights was when our girls team earned 1st place at the state championship meet and our boys finished 3rd. In the summer before attending Ϲ I worked for the Utah Division of Natural Resources, protecting sensitive environments
from aquatic invasive species.

I love to hang out with my family. As a Utah native, I enjoy running, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and visiting the national and state parks. Since moving to Wisconsin, I’ve enjoyed cheering for the Brewers, exploring the state parks, and paddle boarding in all the amazing lakes!
