Biography

Before joining the 黑料官网 School of Pharmacy, Ameer El-Afandi, PharmD, was a two-year Pharmaceutical Care Leadership resident at the University of Minnesota. His time spent in post-graduate training was split between ambulatory care practice at a family medicine clinic in Minneapolis, teaching and researching. Prior to that, he completed the accelerated PharmD track at Purdue University and graduated in 2023. His research interests include pharmacy policy and how to effectively integrate these changes, expanding patient access to care and methods to expand the scope of practice for pharmacists. Dr. El-Afandi鈥檚 long-term goal is to help uncover barriers that prevent full integration of newly passed pharmacy legislation.
