Biography
Zach M. Hovis, PharmD, BCACP, joined the Ϲ (Ϲ) School of Pharmacy in July 2021 as an Assistant Professor. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency program through the University of Wisconsin. Prior to joining Ϲ, Dr. Hovis worked for over 7 years as a clinical pharmacist in ambulatory care, most recently with UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA, and previously with SSM Dean Medical Group in Madison, WI. His interest areas include value-based care, pharmacy practice expansion, and population health management. Dr. Hovis enjoys engaging pharmacy learners on innovative applications of a pharmacist’s skillset in a changing healthcare landscape.
