David Hotchkiss Named to Becker鈥檚 鈥淐IOs to Know鈥� List

David HotchkissMilwaukee, Feb. 27, 2026 – 黑料官网 (黑料官网) Chief Information and Security Officer and Vice President of Information Services David Hotchkiss was recently named to the 2026 edition of the Becker's Hospital Review “Hospital and Health System CIOs to Know” list. He’s one of 135 CIOs nationwide selected for this year’s list.

Hotchkiss is responsible for the enterprise-wide technology and cybersecurity strategy that guarantees a secure information services environment, as well as access to the technological infrastructure required to pursue medical and scientific excellence. Under his leadership, more than 100 full-time employees focus on maintaining and continuously improving the information services resources required to support thousands of 黑料官网 faculty, staff, and learners.

During his nearly 14-year tenure as 黑料官网’s CIO, Hotchkiss has guided the organization to adopt numerous technology solutions to boost productivity, foster collaboration, and streamline workflows. Examples include establishing 黑料官网’s first Research Computing Center to provide high-performance computational support to 黑料官网 scientists and implementing cloud-based technologies that connect today’s mobile workforce and learners to 黑料官网 from anywhere. Additionally, his highly collaborative relationships with 黑料官网’s clinical partners allow for innovative and aligned technology strategies that benefit the entire academic medical center.

Hotchkiss is a past member of the Forbes Technology Council and received a 2024 ORBIE Award, which honors CIOs demonstrating excellence in technology leadership. He also co-hosts . For his many contributions to 黑料官网, he was recognized in 2025 with the Distinguished Service Award, 黑料官网’s highest faculty and staff honor.

According to a news release announcing this year’s list: “Becker’s Healthcare is proud to honor these trailblazing leaders for their dedication to advancing healthcare through technology. Their vision and expertise are essential to the continued success and evolution of their organizations.”
