About the GME Global Health Scholars Program
The program is available to any surgery resident to advance their global health knowledge and leadership. It is a two-year training program and consists of didactic sessions and the global health away rotation. Ϲ currently visits the following sites:
- Havana, Cuba
- Hawassa, Ethiopia
- Port-au-Prince, Haiti
- Tenwek Hospital, Kenya
- The Kathmandu University Hospital, Nepal
